Stay-at-home mom Tammy is a softie and refuses to discipline her boys. Video technician Shawn takes a tougher approach, often yelling at his sons, but that doesn't curb their naughtiness either.

The psychic gives her a strange message that later comes back to haunt Allison. A case about the homicide of a police officer takes a shocking turn when Allison dreams where the murder weapon is located and is then called to the stand to testify how she obtained the information. Meanwhile, Allison fears that Joe is having an affair when he repeatedly comes home late from work.

Navi's boss orders him to kill his wife and son before the day is over.

Lastly, Harold and Edna are forced to work together despite their hostility toward each other when a medical emergency comes up at his office with the water pipes bursting.

He tells the team that his son died due to drinking himself to death fraternity initiation. The medical examiner's report on Kyle rules out alcohol poisoning but states that he was allergic peanut oil. Now the team is looking at a homicide and not a simple hazing. Also Sue and Lucy let Amanda stay with them for the night they get an idea of what parenting is like. As the help Amanda deal with going on a date and then being rejected at school. Amanda gets a harsh lesson to learn. She finds out that friends are hard to come by because she is deaf.
American Dreams
Season 3, Episode 13
Prom is on the brain in this episode of American Dreams. With senior prom soon approaching, Roxanne and Meg scramble with their preperations. Patty is invited to prom which she rubs in Meg's face but is later upset when her date asks somebody else. Roxanne works to convince Luke to shave her beard off, while Meg prepares to face the prom on her own. JJ comes to her rescue after having a fight with Beth, that begins when JJ confesses his gamble that he lost. While at prom, JJ is offered a job at the high school. Meanwhile, Mr. Pryor feels the pressure from his bribers, and struggles to make a choice, which effects his family more than he knows.

On 21 August 1995, Atlantic Southeast Airlines Flight 529 is climbing to its cruising altitude, when a blade on the left-side propeller comes off. The imbalance of the rotating propeller causes the engine to partly tear itself from its mounting, creating excessive drag. The aircraft rapidly loses altitude and crashes, killing nine people.
