After a three-month separation, Q comes to visit Moesha, along with Khalib, for Thanksgiving. Dee's father, Arthur Loving, visits as well and brings along with him his grudge towards Frank. As Moesha and Q make up for time spent apart, Q makes an odd request involving her engagement ring. (Q needs the ring to help finance some new rap group he's producing.) Khalib advises his help and concern for Moesha and offers to lend them the money. But when Moesha tells Q the news, he overreacts; leading to the end of their engagement.

Joan finds herself alone on Thanksgiving after everyone makes other plans for the holiday. After dining at 847, she meets Davis's friend Preston Hall, a handsome and highly successful attorney. Joan invites him back to her place for a home-cooked meal before he has to leave on the red-eye, but her friends suddenly begin appearing and she can't seem to get them to leave.

Cleo is teaching Mauser to play strip poker with a deck of homemade cards. Cleo (looking at Mauser's hand) ""Oh, a royal flush not good."" Mauser has to remove an article of clothing. Cleo tries to convince Sarge and Hel to join them, but they are busy. Besides, Sarge says, ""I've already seen him naked."" Voice interrupts to order the team to Housing Level 215 to settle a critical situation. Cleo tells Mauser they'll be right back, so ""keep your shirt off."" Raina enters the office of Dr. Lim, ""Neuro-surgery while you wait"". He is apparently the one responsible for programming her so she could read people's minds. Raina reveals a scar on her forehead and says she no longer has those powers and wants them restored. She picks up his ""transplane generator"", which was created to expand the powers of the mind. But when the actress arrives, the lawyer is missing; he's been hired to defend Jeff in a case involving a destructive kid Jeff sponsored for a Fresh Air Fund camp. At Larry's house, Julia ends up buying a bracelet from the lawyer's wife -- the same kind Larry wanted in episode 4 -- only to later accuse Larry of stealing it after he buys a similar one for Cheryl.
