When her mother decides to reveal that she once had an affair, Max can take no more. She explains that she has always been grateful to her mother for giving her the space she needed to become her own person; things cannot change completely overnight. Nina shows up at the courtroom to console Max after she loses a case, and they decide to build their relationship slowly. Kyle is perplexed as to why Nina has not even been told of his existence. Khadijah finds actor Dean Cain's wallet in a cab, and learns that he will not work until he has retrieved the lucky receipt from the breakfast he ate the day he auditioned for Lois and Clark. She refuses to return the wallet to anyone but Cain himself. Tag: Dean Cain finds that Burt Ward is a little out of touch with reality.

Val goes to bed with David. Brandon becomes depressed about Dylan's departure as he ties up his affairs. Kelly manages to cheer him up, sparking jealousy in Susan. Steve is assigned to protect the school mascot during homecoming week. Colin helps him pull a prank on rival S.C.U.
Mr. Bean

At a barbershop, Mr. Bean inadvertently holds the fort for the barber when he is distracted by a phonecall, resulting in him giving several customers terrible haircuts. Later, Bean heads to a fête, where he cheats at all the games and enters Teddy into a children's pet show, where his inanimacy allows Bean to pass all the obedience tests with flying colours. And finally, after a train journey, Bean accidentally loses his ticket and unsuccessfully tries to sneak out past the station's guard inside a mail bag.
