Ironside is the only witness to a murder, but has to go into hospital for exploratory surgery immediately after the events that he witnessed. The murderer is determined that he should not leave hospital alive, and as the Chief deals with the possibility of maybe one day being able to walk again, his presence in the hospital helps various other citizens right wrongs in their lives. Meanwhile Ed, Eve and Mark deal with their own worries and fears for the Chief as the murder attempts escalate.
Bewitched

Endora tries to make peace with Darrin, but ends up shrinking him down to size . . . gradually. Samantha tries to get her mother to return Darrin to his regular size, but not before a drunk finds the diminutive Darrin in a mayonaise jar in the trash.

Psychedelic episode featuring The Sundowners. Sister Bertrille hears that Sonny and the Sundowners will be performing at Casino Carlos A-Go-Go. She knew Sonny and wants to say hello. When they meet, Sonny offers to help the convent and asks Sister Bertrille to write a song, they'll record, and she'll get the royalties. She writes a very sixties image-laden song that the Sundowners turn into an all out acid-fuzz-psychedelic-trip! All the nuns go to the go-go club to hear the song's debut and flip out when presented with a trippy strobe light show, caged go-go dancers and background vocal lines like ""grow your own,"" and ""magic mushrooms!"" Season 7, Episode 1
Mr Drysdale congratulates the Clampetts for reaching the sum of $80,000,000 in his bank. Jethro tells Jed he heard on the radio that the Queen Elizabeth was sold to Philadelphia. Jed rings Faversham in London & he confirms this. Says they sold both Queens to the U.S. (However he meant the Ocean Liners,Queen Mary & Queen Elizabeth.Not the people.) Jed thinks that the Queen must be having money trouble & wants to help. He wants to withdraw his money & give it to the Queen. He's sure Mr Drysdale won't mind,it must be a worry for him looking after all that money. When Mr Drysdale hears about this he hires an actor to play the Queen's Minister of Finance to accept the money & give it back to Mr Drysdale. But things don't go the way Mr Drysdale planned, When the actor found out Jed was rich,he sold him Canada & gave him the deed to take to the Queen herself.

The Bolt brothers (Jason, Joshua and Jeremy) bet their mountain that they can bring one hundred marriageable women back to Seattle and that those women will remain in Seattle for a year. In exchange, Aaron Stempel funds their expenses. The Bolt brothers arrive in New Bedford, Massachusetts--a town that has a shortage of men thanks to the Civil War (and probably the whaling industry). After a persuasive speech by Jason, the women enlist for the trip. Jason Bolt finds an old mule boat --er, ship-- and arranges passage on it for the women, his brothers and himself with Captain Roland Francis Clancey. They arrive back in Seattle and have a roaring celebration.

But when cowboy Child Barnett sees the lynch mob coming, he breaks Hoss out of jail, and the two men form a friendship on the run.
